How to Zen Your Business

The speech delivers six steps to infuse your corporate culture with trust, compassion and purpose. It features transparency in relationships to shareholders, to employees, and to the general public. Transparency is the hallmark of an enterprise that has integrity. Firms that present truthful information, operate openly, and stand behind their word make their risks more manageable. “People are expecting  more from the companies they’re doing business with and more from the companies they’re buying from”

Becoming a Zenlightened Leader

Directors who fail to direct and managers who fail to lead are at the root of what ails the corporate world today. A recent survey of thirteen thousand workers in all major industries shows that fewer than two out of five employees trust their senior leaders. According to the Centre for Public Integrity, we are at the lowest level of trust in government and companies since the 1930’s..Unless a company can resolve the crisis of confidence among its employees, it has little hope of restoring the trust and confidence of investors and customers. This speech features the crucial steps to becoming a zenlightened and trusted leader.

Finding the Ultimate Purpose in your Work and your Life

Theorists have said that whatever we loved to do when we were ten years old, was what we would wind up doing at some point in our life. This would become our true passion and our greatest enjoyment. Until that time, we were just doing our jobs. What did you love to do when you were ten years old? This speech talks about the endless opportunities to leave our footprint..  It helps identify the three most important questions in your life.  1) What is your Destiny? 2) What is your Cause? 3) What is your Calling? You will leave this presentation inspired , with a clearer understanding of your purpose and your passion.

The New Era of Zenlightened Capitalism

For decades, environmentalists have been warning us that human economic activity is exceeding the planet’s limits. Of course we keep pushing those limits back with clever new technologies; yet living systems are undeniably in decline. This speech features a blueprint for a new economy, explaining how the world is on the verge of a new industrial revolution-one that promises to transform our fundamental notions about commerce and its role in shaping our future.

Creating Zenployees in the Workplace

How do you inspire your workforce? The conditions are not favorable: pension funds are underwater, stock options have disappeared, and health benefits are diminishing. This speech focuses on overcoming low morale and guiding workers to a significant and productive career. Once workers feel like valuable team members, they start to view their own personal success as part and parcel with the company's success. The fusion of one’s personal vision with one’s professional mission will hallmark the next thousand years.  This speech will provide you with ideas on how you inspire your employees to become “zenployees” enabling them to feel a sense of passion and purpose in the work they do.

Creating Passion, Purpose and Profits with Integrity

David Bornstein said it best; “What business entrepreneurs are to the economy, social entrepreneurs are to social change. They are the driven, creative individuals who question the status quo, exploit new opportunities, refuse to give up, and remake the world for the better.” This speech explains what it takes to be a social entrepreneur.  A look at some of the new heroes of social entrepreneurship, and
The growing movement of "green" (and organic) consumers who want to know whether a company's products, its manufacturing methods, and its policies respect the integrity of the environment and the people on the planet. Social entrepreneurship is really about applying practical, innovative and sustainable approaches that benefit society in general. The companies that succeed on this path will be on the cutting edge of the new 21st century frontier of doing business.

Here's what people are saying:

"For those of us who have been struggling to become something more than just another money-grubbing business person - to do good and do well simultaneously - the journey is often a quiet and lonely one. Who can I share this journey with? Who won't think me a flake for trying to meld Eastern wisdom, Western philosophy and North American business into a whole? I got the answer to the question of "who" by attending Allan Holender's ‘Zentrepreneurism’ seminar. Not only was I surrounded by other people traveling the same roads and with the same concerns as I had, but Allan's way of bringing each of us out in a trusted environment made connections within the room in minutes. If you're looking to enhance your own journey through life - or if you're just curious as to "what else there is" beyond eking out a living - come to Allan's seminar."
